The host broadcaster of the Australia-India Test series admits logistical challenges mean staging a Test in Sydney this summer is less preferable than having back-to-back matches in Melbourne.
While the Australian and Indian squads remained in Adelaide on Monday ahead of boarding a charter flight to Melbourne on Tuesday, the status of the third Test in Sydney, due to start on January 7, remained unclear.
The SCG is due to host the third Test from January 7.
