At least a dozen officers have been injured including one who was hit in the face with a rock. Protesters shutting down interstate 85, fires were set and at least one walmart looted. Overnight officers used tear gas to try to break up the crowds and s. W. A. T. Teams have been mobilized. Chaos in charlotte. Overnight protesters hitting the streets clashing with police in riot gear and damaging several vehicles in widespread demonstrations lasting at least five hours.
