Levitt was the eyes and ears for exports
In 1995, exports were an afterthought for the U.S. dairy industry. That’s when Dairy Management Inc. created and funded the U.S. Dairy Export Council (USDEC) to change that.
Skeptics were aplenty back then. The industry needed someone who could explain exports factually, clearly, and concisely without hype.
The job was more than communications. It required analysis of complex factors, such as global milk production, consumer demand, competitive dynamics, foreign trade regulations, currency exchange rates, and geopolitical developments.
Alan Levitt emerged to tell the U.S. export growth story for decades with a commanding grasp of dairy trade data and statistics.

Director Anne Kraft is anxious to see her work on the play “Two for the Seesaw” for the first time, and she knows her two stars, local theater veterans Annie Gaybis and Peter Gutierrez, are anxious to see themselves, too.
Kraft – a St. Augustine resident, co-founder of that city’s Limelight Theatre and a veteran performer with Palm Coast’s City Repertory Theatre – directed an independent production of that 1958 Broadway play by William Gibson, in which a Nebraska lawyer flees his failing marriage by moving to New York City, where he meets a young, eccentric Jewish dancer.

With just two actors and one director, what could go wrong?
That’s what Annie Gaybis thought when she proposed “Two for the Seesaw” as the next play for City Repertory Theatre and the Palm Coast Arts Foundation. As it turned out, her co-star, Peter Gutierrez, and then the director, Limelight Theater founder Anne Kraft, were infected by COVID-19, and Kraft also had surgery as rehearsals continued.
“What could go wrong?” Gaybis wrote on anniegaybis.com. “It turns out: everything!”
