One of those tanks, the Fire Department says, was missing a valve, and there were reports earlier of a possible explosion. Heres the fire chief. Ed right now, police in townsend are trying to sort out a report of an attempted abduction involving three local teens. The teenage boys told police that an older man tried to grab one of them, and violently attacked another near the town library. A k9 unit was brought in to search for the suspect who the boys say ran off into the woods. That search was inconclusive.
