In the biggest shakeup the Republican Party of Florida has seen in more than a decade, board members voted Monday to oust party chair Christian Ziegler, who's been accused of raping a woman that he and his wife had previously engaged in a three-way sexual encounter.
The party's 250+ committee members voted to oust Ziegler from his $120,000-a-year position over disputed assault allegations who had previous involvement with Ziegler and his wife, Bridget, a Sarasota County School Board member, while Ziegler was absent from the meeting.
