Calgarians will still be going directly in front of city council in April to share their thoughts on the proposed citywide rezoning to allow for more density.
Calgary councillors will debate whether to hold a plebiscite on city-wide zoning changes in a special meeting late Wednesday afternoon. The special meeting is a last-minute request from the mayor.
Currently, the city-wide zoning issue will be debated after a public hearing scheduled on April 22, which will be cancelled if the plebiscite motion is approved.
