Michael McCormack, 50, was arrested Wednesday by Wheat Ridge officers and charged with second-degree murder, second-degree kidnapping, aggravated robbery and motor vehicle theft by the First Judicial District Attorney's Office, officials announced Thursday.
Peter Arguello was shot and killed at his shop Peter Damian's on Nov. 29. Police believe Charles Shay is a suspect in Arguello's slaying. He's held in Jeffco jail.
The Wheat Ridge Police Department on Thursday recommended three murder charges against Charles Robinson Shay, 41, in the death of Peter Arguello at his store, Peter Damian Fine Jewelry and Antiques.
