+ Deputy General Secretary of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) has criticised the European Union’s Election Observation Mission Report (EU EOM) of attempting to repair President Akufo-Addo’s tainted reputation. Peter Boamah Otokunor said the report failed to capture the violent incidents recorded in parts of the country during the 2020 electioneering process. He said the conclusions of the Observer Mission used defective tools in analysing polls and cannot represent the true reflection of the election. “And that is why we are having this report which I think ostensibly is a report just crafted to clean the broken International image of President Akufo-Addo. I am making this conclusion based on the key issues that matter most to the people of this country, that we all saw, debated and discussed” he said on Wednesday.
