This has been a tough year for everyone involved in the music business, here in Thailand and everywhere else.
Since lockdown in March, World Beat has only been able to attend a few concerts; it was only in September that I got to see live music when I saw many national artists perform at the Thailand Cultural Centre. Spare a thought for those in the entertainment business who have had to close bars and lay off staff and musicians in places like Samut Sakhon, where a new outbreak of the Covid-19 virus has struck in the past week.
