Ladies and gentlemen, on behalf the United States house of representatives 115th congress, welcome to todays reath laying ceremony. Mr. Collins eternal god, we are thankful nor moment of remembrance for it is in the silence of this hall that we remember the sacrifices of those who have laid their life down in service to this country. We remember the brothers and the sisters in arms who willingly took on the responsibility and the burden of the defense of this country. We are thankful for their sacrifice and remembrance of their families. Who saw them leave but did not see them return. I pray that we will always remember that measure of devotion and that in every moment of silence we remember that we are here in great part by their sacrifice that we honor in this place on this day.
