Johnstown Mill Rats vs. West Virginia 3:44 am
The Johnstown Mill Rats went 7-22 in the first half of their Season. They tried to Win their 8th of their last 13 for the 2nd half against West Virginia.
We’ll pick it up in the bottom of the 2nd. Ryan McCarthy hits it deep to right past the Right Fielder and one run scores. McCarthy has a triple but he wants it all. He’s heading for Home, but comes up short. The Mill Rats still take the 1-0 lead.
Later in the Inning, DJ Anderson 2nd on the wild throw, so he steals some more. He gets to 3rd, then decides to do a pushup. On the next pitch, Pete Capobianco makes sure his Teammate doesn’t have to work too hard to get home because he sends the ball over the wall in left. The Mill Rats go on to Win this one 12-2.

The sun’s rays poured down Saturday morning across the circular grass field just outside of Niskayuna Town Hall, where people mingled and purchased items at some of the 15 tents at the Niskayuna Farmers’ Market’s opening day.
Many of the shoppers remarked that it was a beautiful weekend for opening day as they moved from tent to tent, perusing the wares of the various vendors.
Two of those shoppers were Pete and Deb Capobianco of Schenectady.
“It’s nice,” said Pete Capobianco.
