And as you mentioned the wind advisory was issued about 40 minutes ago for much of the bay area. Live doppler 7hd is showing the clouds that are moving in across the bay area. We do have reports of mist and drizzle near the coast. The big story is the area of low pressure that is bringing some snow already to the Higher Elevations. We do have Winter Weather advisories in affect for that area, but are you exactly rie. The wind has been a huge problem for the bay area. These are current gusts, san carlos is 37 miles an hour and 29 mile per hour gusts being reported right now in napa. Earlier this evening the Golden Gate Bridge had a wind gust of 45 Miles

Yeah, the federal mediator coming out of a long day of negotiations in the building behind me a short time ago to let us know the trains will indeed run tomorrow. Weve learned the talks will also continue tonight, and they will keep going possibly into the Early Morning as they did yesterday. What is still unclear is whether that means the strike deadline has been extended to tomorrow or whether striking is even off the table. We really dont know. The federal mediator would not answer questions about that. We are intimately involved in the negotiation process. A bart train catches fire tonight. Kpix 5s da lin was right this sh kpix 5 news. Emergency evacuation. A bart train catches fire tonight. Kpix 5 was right there when the flames broke ut earlier. The train is still here in arein da. You cant see it. Its on the other side of the station. Very active behind me. Firefighters working with bart workers to safely remove that train. The fire started underneath this bart car. You can see the flames and black smoke billowing out of several cars. On her way home sleeping at the time. Ing i just woke up because i heard everybody stepping up. When i step outside, i see one of the cars is smoking. She took cell phone footage of the evacuated passengers. Many stood on the platform while smoke poured out of the train. Just told us to get off, and then we saw the smoke coming uf the vehicle. It seemed to get progressively worse.
