Richland Newhope donates books to first graders
MANSFIELD - With the ongoing concerns of COVID-19, Richland Newhope was not able to celebrate March Awareness in the traditional manner. One of this year’s awareness activities included a book distribution to celebrate Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month with the local schools.
Richland Newhope distributed a book about inclusion to public and private first-grade students in Richland County. With the help from Scholastic, Richland County Youth and Family Council and United Way’s Big Red Bookshelf, Newhope was able to distribute 1,400 copies of the book Strictly No Elephants, written by Lisa Mantchev.

Even if the Champagne is temporarily on ice because of the pandemic, the store is planning a low-key celebration. It may not be in the most picturesque location on the Island, but Jollyes tucked-away location on River Way Industrial Estate, Newport, has, over the last quarter of a century, become the place pet and animal lovers flock to. Not only is it one of Jollyes’ top ten stores, it also holds the record for having the highest Pet Club membership of any of its 67 outlets across the UK.

Hong Kong-based boutique distributor Lightning International has acquired the U.K.’s documentary streaming service Docsville.
Docsville was set up and launched in 2018 by award- winning documentary maker Lawrence Elman and Nick Fraser who had previously been a high-profile executive with the British Broadcasting Corporation. There he was known for creating the award-winning and influential “Storyville” documentary strand.

The service debuted on Amazon Channel in the U.K. as an add-on subscription for Amazon Prime members. Supported technically and financed by the Swedish tech giant Magine, it quickly became available in 156 countries and as an app for both iOS and Android devices.
