Speeding car hits motorway police official at Peshawar toll plaza, driver arrested
PESHAWAR (Dunya News) - A motorway police official sustained multiple injuries after a speeding car crashed into him when police signaled the car to stop at a check post ahead of the Peshawar Toll Plaza.
According to details, the car was also signaled to stop by the Motorway police near Mardan. In an attempt to flee, at Peshawar toll plaza driver hit the policeman.
The driver has been arrested by Chamkani police. The accused Junaid is 26 years old and a resident of Islamabad. The officer is undergoing treatment at LR Hospital where his condition is said to be critical. The vehicle was going from Islamabad to Peshawar.
