18:36 | Lima, Apr. 1. The Government is neutral towards the current electoral process and guarantees fair and transparent elections for citizens, Peruvian Prime Minister Violeta Bermudez affirmed on Thursday.
While supervising the actions taken by the National Police during Holy Week, she said that the Executive Branch respects the principle of neutrality and refrains from giving opinions on candidates.
The Cabinet chief took the opportunity to inform all citizens that the Transitional and Emergency Government has lent all its support to electoral bodies, adding that the support of the Police and Armed Forces is guaranteed for all citizens to cast their vote freely.
