National Elections Board (JNE) Chairman Jorge Luis Salas has ensured that he will unrestrictedly respect the popular will of the electorate in the presidential runoff election scheduled for June 6.
Salas affirmed that, during his many years as supreme judge, his most remarkable quality was his impartiality, adding that he was elected as head of the JNE by his peers and not as a result of political favors of any kind.
In this sense, he guarantees an impartial process during the June 6 election, as in the first round of voting. The National Elections Board (JNE) is going to proceed properly, by respecting unrestrictedly the popular will, he said in remarks to RPP radio and TV station.
