the cold-hearted nature of this whole thing. mr. butler retired from maryland and moved back to south carolina several years ago and registered to vote and voted in the last two elections. he had a maryland driver s license that you can t trade for a south carolina driver s license nor can you vote in south carolina if this new law passes with anything other than a south carolina driver s license. right. mr. butler went didn t have a birth certificate, went through the steps at the health department to to get a delayed birth certificate, got his college records, his high school records, medical records, military records and took that to vital records and they said we want your elementary school records. so he took all of those records and they still wanted elementary. he went to school in a black church in the 1930s, and it doesn t exist anymore, and we found later mr. butler s census records that showed him being born in 1930 or being 4 years old in 1930 in calhoun county,
and he s raising money to make sure that people like you in his home state. don t get elected. can t be a voice for teachers and for some of the things that i said, the cuts that we showed that he s made. right. and this is the last of the guys that they or ladies they want to israel out as the new promise of the republican party. yeah. well, i mean, if perry didn t make it, if bachmann didn t make it, so maybe it s going to be him and romney. you know, running for president is a full-time job. how can you possibly be the governor of a state as large and significant as new jersey and at the same time be running for president? so, i mean, i think he s being disingenuous at best. i think i don t agree with his policies and don t agree with a lot of what he says. i ve met him and think he s probably a decent guy. i agree with one thing. he s not ready. he said that. i just showed it to you over and over again. he s not red, and i don t think
armed with a lot of resources to make his case. lack at his fund-raising and where that s going. you see that he is on pace for $1 million by october 1 million donors by object. you have the dnc fund-raising in the summer. raised $86 million between he and the dnc. and the target for the third quarter fund-raising is $55 million, so with a million donors coming in and bringing this kind of money in in the summer, what they are targeting. he ll have the resources to really bring home his message. and he s going to need them. the irony, reverend sharpton, just a couple days ago conservatives were licking their chops at a new york times story saying this president had trouble with his small donors, that they were disillusioned and didn t get involved. people don t remember in 2007, for all the talk of being sort of web driven and having all the small donors, most of the money
we have to do whatever it takes to keep the nation safe. bill: three days before the iraq waras launched, here s what vice president cheney said on meet the press. i think that s the bad side of iraq from the standpoint the iraqi people will be greeted bill: it actual the didn t happen. it actually did happen. liberators and then the bloody, dangerous insurgency began. it wasn t until 2006 to adopt a counter inursurgency strategy. bill: here s where you re wrong. we were greeted in a way that was tentative. it s not right. bill: do you know how many people were there when the statue came down? couple hundred. baghdad is a city of millions. couple of hundred and right after the statue came down, the armories were looted and terrorists went in and they took all of saddam hussein s arms,
at my radio show tonight which is a broad base of people from different doe unanimously nations and different faith backgrounds, people love it. they connect with it. bill: the people who agree with him like ralph reed and people who are, you know, believe that the country should get back to the judeo christian tradition, of course they re going to like it. i think there might be something else in play here. i could be wrong about this. i think the governor is separating himself a little from mitt romney. absolutely. bill: he has the mormon thing going on. absolutely. bill: here i am, i m pure christian. look at this guy over here. he d never say it. romney would never say i mean, perry didn t say that. that subtext was in there. well, the last time romney really gave him an address was on 2007 and it was very it was very well watched and highly anticipated. i think he wants to try to stay away from that issue. and meanwhile, you got the governor of texas saying this is
