Former Marysville manager convicted of bribery, theft for accepting gifts from companies

A jury on April 22 convicted the former manager of Marysville Borough of bribery, corruption and theft, according to court records and the Perry County District Attorney.
Scott A. Weaver, 59, of Enola was convicted of four charges, including two bribery related felonies for accepting gifts from Florida companies to increase Marysville’s purchases of cleaning supplies over a multiyear period. He was found guilty of conflict of interest and accepting improper influence, the two felonies, as well as misdemeanor theft by unlawful taking, and being a corrupt employee, agent or fiduciary.
