Food distribution scheduled in New Lexington NEW LEXINGTON, Ohio – The Southeast Ohio Foodbank, a program of Hocking-Athens-Perry Community Action, will host a food distribution on Friday, May 14, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the fairgrounds in New Lexington. Fresh produce and other food items will be distributed to families who are residents of Perry County and under 230% of federal poverty guidelines. Pre-registration for the event is required and can be made online at freshtrak.com. The day of the event, participants must bring a photo ID and proof of residency no more than 60 days old. The event is sponsored by the New Lexington School District in partnership with the United Way of Muskingum, Perry and Morgan Counties.
