We are holding a hearing for the anniversary of the passage of the americans with disabilities act and the Disability Rights Movement occupation for the Federal Building here. I want to thank all the city agencies that have been involved. But i think that we are on alert to take action because i think that were not just fighting to keep a building, to keep a home, to keep a community open. I actually think that this fight ultimately is about who we are as a city. Its really about the soul of San Francisco, how we lost our soul as a city that were letting dozens of seniors who have given their lives and served the city be thrown out on the street like that.
