The Government has admitted to easing the cuts in water consumption in the Algarve which have been in force since January in the urban sector and agriculture.
The Commission for Hydro-Agricultural Sustainability of the Algarve (CSHA) has defended an update to the cuts in water consumption imposed by the previous.
Water cuts of 25% in agriculture and 15% in the urban sector will take place in the Algarve, to preserve water reserves, while pressure reductions and penalties.
