For today s prompt, write a three-of-a-kind poem. The poem could be about getting a three-of-a-kind in poker or Yahtzee, sure, but it could also be about any number (well, the number three) of other combinations. Triplets, trifolds, tripods, three-legged dogs (or cats), or visiting three cities (or eating a pizza with three toppings?). There are definitely more than three ways to come at this one.
And that includes writing a poem with three refrains (like a triolet) or three lines (like a haiku or senryu). The bop is one more form that plays on three (stanzas).
