Cumberland Trust has promoted a firm veteran to director of its special needs trust administration team, an area of recent growth for the firm. Charlotte English first joined Nashville-based Cumberland as a trust officer in 2013 after earning a bachelor’s degree in environmental studies with a minor in business from the University of Tennessee and a law degree from the Nashville School of Law. In 2015 and 2016, she worked as an attorney at the former Clarcor in Cool Springs before returning to Cumberland in November 2016. “Charlotte has been a dedicated and valuable member of our Special Needs Trust Administration team for many years,” said Pepe Presley, Cumberland’s chairman, president and CEO. “I am confident that with her extensive experience she will lead the Special Needs Trust Administration team well.”
