assault on the lockdown b policies of the bushid administration. what is your response now two years into this two years after that they thought that you guys were dead politically.ti they hoped it. well, first of all, my job is to be a leader.r. it s not to worry about the politics and i never tooker a poll during covid. i never tried to put my finger in the wind. ii did you notice to open and to stay open because that was what the data was telling us . if all you did was listen to fauci or some of these people p on cnn, you would think you could never open. you actually looked at the data is very t clear. people i needed to work.de people needed to have businesses open and kids needed to be inin school. that was very clear. and so we did and we were when we had the schools, for example, the media was having an absolute spasm. they were saying this is just so outrageous. and actually we were the ones following the data they weren t . and of course now you look look at the collateral d
americans. and yet open our border. and i m one of those people p i m very pragmatic. don t come to me with a problem unless we can figure out solutions. the solutions are fairly obvious. when this administration came into office, they had the solution. they had the remain in mexico policy because, obviously, the first thing you want to do is make sure the country that borders our south, the majority of people coming over illegally, fentanyl and weapons are coming over at our southern bard border, the first thing to do is work with mexico. it s the reason why secretary of state mike pompeo spent so much time negotiating with mexico. not only did we tell them it was necessary, but we left them little choice. we saw this administration explode that up in its first few months in office. we ve seen what they ve done with immigrations and customs enforcement. up until this administration, they were able to actually deport criminal illegal aliens.
party hr1 bill through which of course tries to do the opposite, no id and making mail-in ballot the standard. so this is the same president who called me a neanderthal. now he s invoking jim crow too. and i ve got to tell you what, that s diminishing to the people in the united states of america who did have to suffer through jim crow. anybody who says this is a jim crow law, they don t either know jim crow laws or they don t kno what s going on in the state of texas because there is no segregation, there is no attempt to make it harder for people of color and in fact, texas passed a voter id law a few years ago and they said the same thing about voter suppression, it would deny people of color the ability to vote, ever since we passed the law there s been more people p that vote than ever before, including people of color. it s easier today as it s ever been for people of color, alle texans to cast a vote. the as percents it shows that
restore the voting rights act and reminder of what the stakes are at here, that our democracy is on the line. jason: arizona attorney general mark brnovich, a republican, he joins us now. he s been right in the middle of this fight and mr. attorney general, i ve got to tell you, i want you to explain to people p what ballot harvesting is because democrats took a he position in california that they were in favor of it but in north carolina they were opposed to it.f now they go to court and they lost, in addition to the voting making sure you vote in your own he precinct. jason, thank you for having me on, on july 4th. happy birthday, america. in a nutshell, this case was really about do states have the ability to enact common sense election integrity measures. ballot harvesting involves a practice where you have candidates or political parties that go out and try to collect votes, sometimes put pressure on vulnerable populations to vote a certain way and arizona like a inlot of othe
packages. does that tell you anything? well, what it tells us sometimes ambiguity is more stressful and scary. if i could prescribe a motive at this point it s scare people p and make them afraid. the more information you give someone, the more secure they feel in figuring out what your motive is or who you are. the less information you give someone the more stress and uncertainty. this person, if they re skilled or researched in anything it s simply the psychology of creating terror and seems like that s what s happening. rest assured we ll find this person. with 12 devices none of them have gone off and intact. we can dissect them. we have the information and technology tools and people to find who this is and bring them to justice. i have no doubt about that whatsoever. bill: the fact that they have not been apprehended yet. are they go at evasion?
