Park City voters waiting to decide between Mayor Andy Beerman and the challenger for the mayor’s office, Park City Councilor Nann Worel, have just a short time to make a selection. Election Day, with two City Council seats also on the ballot, is Tuesday.
“Leadership is about service and honor honoring the people and community I serve and the commitments I make. It’s about putting aside personal agendas and listening with genuine interest, empathy and openness. It’s about giving credit where credit is due and engaging divergent voices to collaborate on solutions to Park City’s biggest problems,” writes Nann Worel.
With Election Day just more than a week out, readers continue to offer support for the candidates in the Park City mayoral and City Council races, as well voice their opinions on the School District and Summit County bonds.
Ballots in Park City’s vote-by-mail election have started to arrive, giving Parkites another week-plus to make their decisions. The ballots were mailed around Oct. 12.
