A positive case of coronavirus COVID-19 has been recorded at The People’s Cathedral Primary School and classes have resumed online until further notice. Reports are that one student has tested positive. A letter reportedly issued by Principal Heather Bryan said that the entire school will be sanitised. Bryan told Starcom Network that they are being guided by the Ministry of Health through its COVID team.

The graduating class at the People’s Cathedral Primary School donated $1 000 to the Barbados Cancer Society’s Breast Screening programe on Monday.
During the presentation held at the Bishop’s Court Hill, St Michael school, chairperson of the graduating committee, Lisa Martin, said that the students wanted to give back to their community and contributed a portion of the money they raised during a fundraising event.
