This discussion was organized by ted johnson who has been a fellow in our National Fellows program and also a fellow in the Political Reform Program. His work on the complexity of black voting behavior and Political Attitudes has been eyeopening to me, and, you know, tremendously important. Welcome to the United Nations, his excellency, president of the republic of north korea, and invite him to address the assembly. Pres. Moon first of all, on behalf of the people and government of south korea, i would like to extend my sympathies to the victims in mexico as well as the people and government of mexico. I offer my respect and gratitude to all Member States and the staff of the United Nations secretariat for their contribution to world peace and security. I congratulate the election of the president of the second General Assembly. I expect the session will be meaningful results under his excellent leadership. I also wish General Gutierrez great success. The republic of south korea takes a strong stance in support to sustainingals peace. Sometimes you see men and women in uniform stand up and you see people dressed like you and me and they stand up when you realize that veterans are everywhere. We say thank you to them. We should do it every day not just on veterans day. Im excited about our interview later with john preston firefighter who has become a musician, he is a vet and all his work that he does to raise awareness and action. We will talk to him about women and female vets who are taking their own lives after coming home from overseas and battling i believe we are going to a barbecue where they are giving away free food to veterans. Michael sure, so, Alameda County Community Food bank serves an immense need. Were helping 1 in 5 county residents. Were the hub of hunger relief in Alameda County, so well distribute the equivalent of about 31 million meals worth of food this year. And that goes through 200 community organizations, like food pantries and soup kitchens, as well as our own direct distribution programs.
