in the classroom knowing there s a gun there. have you talked to your parents there? is this something they want to take action on? my mom is a teacher, and she feels the exact same way that i do. no teacher should have guns. we want less guns, not more guns. and i think that s where a lot of people aren t understanding, is that we don t want more guns in our classroom or more guns on school campus, we want less guns. that s the whole argument. we feel that there s more guns, there s a higher possibility that something like this could happen again. thank you very much for your time tonight and our thoughts are with you and all of your classmates as you head back to school this week. thank you. thank you for having me. and joining me now, democratic congressman from florida and the former governor charlie crist. thank you for being here. thank you, kasie. congressman, you in your career have switched parties.
you got to get the bill out you say i can t answer that. there s a lot of things i don t like about this bill, but you have to get this bill out of the house. what you haven t talked about, and i don t think republicans are considering and they should be is failure. you say it s all political. no, it s not. obama care is failing. here s the problem, republicans are going to own the health care system whether they fix it or not because by not fixing it and leaving it in place, you now own it. you have now taken control of obama the fact that we ve tried through this, we now own it. whether we pass it or not, we own it. that s what people aren t understanding. there is a huge problem with not doing something. at least if we own it, at least give a try for what we believe in instead of owning something
trump travel ban saying it could affect the number of doctors in the u.s. for medical research. joining us with her analysis is dr. nicole is a fire. thanks for joining us. good morning. ainsley: if the ban were not in place like it is now, if we have influx of refugees, how does that effect the medical community here in the u.s.? we have already seen overwhelming of our system with the implementation of the affordable care act. if we were to welcome a large amount of refugees we would just see more, overburdening of our healthcare system. more of the doctor shortage that we are already dealing with unfortunately what we people aren t understanding is foreign graduates are critical to our healthcare system, the compassion, intelligence and scientific research. there is no national boundaries there. so we do have international collaboration that really is vital to the medical system. ainsley: would doctors be completely overwhelmed? you said there is already a shortage. i know in
he s not a friend of donald trump, necessarily. but, nonetheless, this is what he says. it s the best thing the happen to politics in a long time. and then he went onto say i don t care what his actual positions are. i don t care if he says the wrong thing. he says what s on his mind. he gives honest answers rather than prepared answers. this is more important than any candidate in years. this is a guy who gets in a fuse with donald trump and, still, he reichs him in the race. that pretty much sums it up. it sounds like that woman who was at the town hall with chris christie. that s the thing. people aren t understanding. there s a psychological thing going on here. you have a man who is unbeholden to no one. there isn t anyone that can buy him. he has nothing to lose. he s just being who he is. people respect that. on the other hand, they re in big business. the little guys are being left out here. so donald trump is out there speaking for those people. that s why he s resonating.
i think this shows a very angry man who needs to get some counseling over his feelings. jaynie? look, you have a first amendment right to say what you want in this country, for the first part, but there are consequences attached to your speech. that s what people aren t understanding here. that s why you can be fired. it s a consequence of the offensive behavior. you don t want to promote as the boss or the employer, you don t want to promote that kind of what i would call disgusting commentary. but it doesn t mean that he is not allowed to say it. it s not against the law. we must start breeding tolerance by acting tolerant. there is someone on twitter that says opie and anthony aren t shock jocks. really? go ahead, judge. one of the things i was going say is i was on opie and anthony s show on two occasions during the george zimmerman commentary. they were very polite. they were funny. i never heard any racist comments. i don t know what he is like
