Pentwater s Free Fishing Weekend returns Feb. 13 file photo and last updated 2021-01-23 15:54:22-05 PENTWATER, Mich. — Pentwater’s Winterfest is scheduled to take place on the second and third weekends of February this year, according to the Pentwater Chamber of Commerce. The event includes the annual Free Fishing Weekend on Feb. 13 and Feb. 14. The Winterfest schedule of activities this year are listed as follows: Saturday, Feb. 13 Snowman Scram 5K and 1-Mile Fun Run: 11 a.m., registration opens at 9:30 a.m. at the bus barn. Entry fee is $25 for the 5K, $15 for the Fun Run. Register online Pentwater Pathways Open: 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. The event is free.
