of 1% in the last report. we re growing jobs so we ve got to keep on doing it. we have a lot of work to do there but i think our state has turned the corner. when i became governor we had one former governor going to jail and one in jail. we got to straighten that out and we have. what s the story, the problem, every state has pension problems. illinois has specifically a very large pension problem. what s the story with going forward and taking care of the pension problems, and what s your relationship with rahm emanuel? we passed the pension reform last december. we signed it into law. the state had $100 billion liability that accumulated many many years and many years of legislatures. but we took care of that. and everybody who s a mayor in illinois, whether a big city like chicago, mayor emanuel. or any other town, your job as governor is to get along with people and work with them.
though in drone strikes my past experience has told me that they cannot rely on dna. often there s nothing left after one of these strikes and they have to reroo lie on eyewitness accounts or overhead drone video. what seems key here are these three senior members. the u.s. government officials are waiting to get some kind of read-out. catherine herridge in d.c., thank you. we have a pension problem in this country. a recent survey by pew charitable trust fund find that the u.s. public pension gap widened to $1 trillion in 2012. that s a lot of zeros. but a partial bailout could be in the works for the bankrupt city of detroit. the obama administration considering freeing up to $100 million to give to the city s pensioners, money that would come from all of us. joining me, the treasure for the state of ohio. great to see you, josh. how does this affect ohio? well, essentially the taxpayers of the state of ohio,
gets 100k a year, and a specialist gets 88k a year, and didn t they sign up for this stressful time to be, or was it like i never realized april 15th was going to be so stressful! i need more money or i will go work elsewhere! it seems like fair compensation, but all the other stuff they need, and i don t think they need $62 million. the workers are not really the problem, are they? no, not at all. i agree with emily about this. look, these guys didn t promise themselves these bonuses. somebody promised it to them. it s like the union, the pension problem we have in the united states. these guys are just going to work every single day and somebody is making them promises that the government can t keep or they shouldn t make at all. the problem is they are not just
