in alabama, whatever happen, it s not reflective of the moment, because there s so many different things that are outside the norm. but rebecca, you know, the president said even when luther strange didn t get it, he said i will support roy moore. but then all the allegations rose to the top. then there was kind of radio silence before now. the president said flat out in pensaco pensacola, go roy moore. what s changed? there was a sense among republicans that as distant as the hope was, there was some hope they would be able to get roy moore drop out of the race and have some other republican candidate step in. that s why initially you heard all these republicans from mitch mcconnell to the rnsc cutting off roy moore and saying he would be expelled if he were seated, calling for him to step aside, that sort of rhetoric. but now obviously he s not stepping out of the race. he s the republican candidate
