Microsoft s DeBERTa AI model outperformed humans in a test of natural language understanding.
The AI earned higher marks than the human baseline in the SuperGLUE test.
Google also has an AI that beats the human baseline, though Microsoft s AI model scores higher on the same test.
Microsoft invests heavily in artificial intelligence in a wide range of sectors. One of those sectors is natural language understanding, which aims to have AI models understand everyday speech. This is a particularly tricky challenge for machines, but Microsoft s DeBERTa AI model recently scored higher than the human baseline in the SuperGLUE test.
As explained by Microsoft, SuperGLUE is one of the most challenging benchmarks for natural language understanding. Microsoft shares an example in its recent blog post:

It s been close to five years since Hitman caretaker IO Interactive reinvented its signature stealth series, adopting an all-new episodic format in the name of replayability. It was a move that aimed to bring long-term value to a traditionally one-time single-player experience, with each locale now a mini open-world brimming with opportunities for espionage. While the follow-up dropped the piece-by-piece delivery, its action still retained the player choice that made its reboot so compelling.
Hitman 3 acts as the third and final entry in what s described as the World of Assassination trilogy, further advancing those same fundamentals as the studio masters its craft. The underlying gameplay remains mostly unchanged but the execution has been refined into a cinematic symphony. After playing Hitman 3 for a few hours a head of launch, we think this could all make make for the best Hitman experience to date, and as a final outing to remember.

Facebook s Zuckerberg is taking direct control of WhatsApp, eroding the encrypted messenger s privacy structure. From February, Facebook will be able to analyze and profile your chat data for serving ads, and who knows what else, as you move across the web.
Telegram features end-to-end encrypted chats, and its cloud-based messages are stored in data centers all over the world, with multiple encryption keys, requiring the coordination of multiple legal jurisdictions to unlock. This setup makes it one of the most secure messaging platforms out there and a great free alternative to WhatsApp for those who want to decentralize their digital footprint.
Microsoft Lists now supports undo and redo commands.
The feature makes it easy to remove or add back the last thing that you did within Microsoft Lists.
The feature works similarly to other popular apps, such as Microsoft Word.
Microsoft Lists is a relatively new platform from Microsoft to track and organize information, including issues, assets, routines, and contacts. It integrates with popular Microsoft services, such as Teams, Outlook, and SharePoint. With all the information that people put into Microsoft Lists, it s easy to make a mistake. Now, it s also easy to undo that mistake with undo and redo commands.

Facebook acquired WhatsApp back in February 2014 for a staggering $19 billion. At that time, the service had 500 million users; it now boasts over 2 billion users today.
Facebook tried a lot of methods to monetize WhatsApp over the years, introducing business accounts to allow brands to chat with customers and even turning the platform into an e-commerce destination. That said, the app was left as its own entity, and Facebook didn t meddle too much into the core service itself.
That s changing now. WhatsApp has updated its privacy policy, and the new terms requires users to share data with Facebook as well as its associated companies, including Facebook Payments, Onavo (a web analytics service and controversial VPN), and CrowdTangle (a social analytics tool). The data that will be shared with Facebook and its companies as part of the new terms includes the following:
