DUNCANSVILLE The Duncansville Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary 8724 will hold its monthly Military Food Share distribution at noon Monday at the post, 1665 Newry Lane.
It is for all active military, veterans and widows or widowers of veterans living in Blair County. Take your military and photo ID and enter from Dunnings Highway/Newry Lane.
The auxiliary wants to thank all the volunteers, local businesses, individuals and Pennsylvania Skill Charitable Giving for helping to keep this program going.
Auxiliary meetings are held at 7 p.m. on the third Wednesday of each month at the post. Membership is open to individuals related to a veteran who has served overseas in a location of foreign conflict, earning the campaign medals eligible. That veteran can be a living or deceased spouse, parent, child, sibling, grandparent or grandchild.
