On the afternoon of Thursday, Dec. 10, Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf ordered limited-time mitigation orders against the further spread of COVID-19. These restrictions will prohibit indoor dining, in-person school events, indoor gatherings of more than 10, and outdoor gatherings of more than 50 people, as well as temporarily shutting down gyms and entertainment venues.
This order will take effect for the entire Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, and begin at 12:01 a.m. on December 12, and remain in effect until 8 a.m. on January 4, 2021. This 23-day period will stretch from two weeks prior to Christmas Eve until three days after New Year s Day.
