Preparations are underway for the funeral of a Montgomery County police officer, noah leota. He was hit by a suspected drunk driver last week. Visitation is set for 2 00 to 4 00 p. M. Prosecutors say he was distraught over his breakup and crawled through her basement window in july of 2012 and slashed her throat several times. He spoke to his mother on the phone after the killing. His mother testified that she called him and she said where are you and he said i have done something horrible to amber. That led detectives to the gruesome scene.
