Pennsylvania Great Outdoors Visitors Bureau Hosting Photo Contest With Cash Prizes

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – The Pennsylvania Great Outdoors Visitors Bureau is hosting a photo contest.
Called the “Hometown Proud Photo Contest,” it’s for photos taken in Jefferson, Elk, Clarion, Forest or Cameron counties.
The contest runs March through May. There’s a $100 cash prize for first place, $75 for second, $50 for third and $25 for fourth.

New versions of the Elk Viewing Guide for the Pennsylvania Elk Range and the Elk County Trail County have been released by the Pennsylvania Great Outdoors Visitors Bureau and the Elk County Commissioners.
The viewing guide is a detailed guide to seeing wild elk in Pennsylvania. It includes a map with elk-viewing locations, lodging and retail information, viewing tips, the history of the state’s elk herd and more.
