PLYMOUTH â Judges, nurses, accountants ⦠theyâve all heeded the call of volunteerism to keep Montgomery County residents safe.
Among the 39 graduates of Class 2002 from Montgomery County Fire Academy who celebrated the completion of the Pennsylvania Entry Level Firefighter Training program with a virtual graduation ceremony on Dec. 8 was Magisterial District Judge Gregory Scott of the Fairmount Fire Company.
âGregory is just one of a handful of new members that weâve recently gotten into the fire department, said Norristown Fire Chief Tom O Donnell. Itâs not an uncommon thing to see professionals like judges become volunteer firefighters. Greg Scott is the second judge to come out of Fairmount Engine Co.
