Penn State Startup Week powered by PNC returns April 4-8 with in-person, hybrid and virtual events. Students from all Penn State campuses will have opportunities to explore innovation and entrepreneurship, learn from passionate changemakers and connect with industry leaders from diverse backgrounds.
Thanh Le, doctoral student in the College of Information Sciences and Technology, and his fellow Moichor co-founders are setting out to change old-school veterinary diagnostics through their software that uses artificial intelligence and machine learning to leverage data-driven image learning to classify cells.
The Accelerator Rap Challenge, hosted by The Cape at Penn State, is challenging university students around the United States to create short, educational, animated music videos. A total of $3,500 in prizes is available, and winning entries also will be featured in a film festival hosted by the Penn State Arts and Design Research Incubator in spring 2022.
In a presentation to the Board of Trustees on Nov. 12, Penn State President Eric J. Barron highlighted the impact of Invent Penn State and the University’s statewide economic development and job creation efforts on students and citizens across the commonwealth.
