Right on the heels of No. 1 Maryland’s dramatic comeback win against Johns Hopkins, the Big Ten’s shocking Saturday continued with an unbelievable 10-9 finish in Penn State’s win against Ohio State.
Down 9-8 and with 1:08 remaining, sharp-shooter Mac O’Keefe got the ball off a pick, drew attention from the Ohio State defense and passed inside to Dylan Foulds on the doorstep, who faked and dipped into the net.

Forty-five seconds later, Foulds swept across, with O’Keefe as the picker, and fired it into the bottom corner of the net to take the victory with only 23 seconds left.

The Penn State Men’s Volleyball Team are just one win away from taking home a Conference Title. The Nittany Lions were dominant in the EIVA Semifinals against rival Saint Francis, and now they have just one more hill to conquer.
The Nittany Lions were able to take care of business Thursday night against the Red Flash from Rec Hall 3 games to none. All the usual stars for the Blue and White showed up. Brett Wildman and Michal Kowal each had double digit kills, while Conference Player of the Year Cole Bogner had 23 assists.
Penn State will now get set to take on George Mason in the final Saturday night. The Nittany Lions won 3 out of the 4 matches with the Patriots this year and after Thursday night, Head Coach Mark Pavlik is feeling pretty good about his Team’s chances. See video for comments from Coach Pavlik…
The Makings of Mac O’Keefe, Division I Goals King
Fri Apr 23 2021 | Nelson Rice | College
Mac O’Keefe needed four minutes and 19 seconds to put the NCAA career goals record behind him at least on the stat sheet and in the record book.
As the wave of congratulations poured in on social media and onto his cellphone that ran out of battery back inside Penn State’s locker room, O’Keefe remained focused on the task on the field. The Nittany Lions still trailed by one. With 3:02 remaining in the second quarter of a Big Ten battle against Michigan, O’Keefe received a pass from TJ Malone at the top of the key and unleashed his trademark underhand stroke.
Over the past few years, the NCAA transfer portal has provided student-athletes the ability to move between schools and, effectively, explore free agency, as it were.
In the last couple of months alone, Penn State football and basketball have seen roster turnover through the transfer portal. Often, it seems to be players leaving Penn State and finding new homes elsewhere.
But what about the players who have transferred into Penn State and become stars during their time as a Nittany Lion? Let’s take a brief look at some of the greatest transfer successes in Penn State history.

The Penn State Men had a battle with Wisconsin Thursday night in the Big Ten Tournament. They almost had another big comeback. However, they came up just 1 point short.
The Nittany Lions were down as many as 17 with just under 7 minutes to play. That’s when they went on a 18-2 run and had the ball with just seconds to play with a chance to take the lead. Just like the many chances they had in the Regular Season, they couldn’t covert when it mattered.
The Blue and White were led by Sam Sessoms who had 18 points. Interim Head Coach Jim Ferry says his guys fought to the end just like they’ve done all Season. See video for comments from Coach Ferry…
