It s been a tough year for everybody including for The Beaver County Times.
From personnel changes, layout adjustments and content variance to all that came along with working during a pandemic while also covering the details of the ever-changing status of COVID-19, it s been quite a year.
And yet, reporters at The Times and The Ellwood City Ledger pushed through, covering not only the pandemic but how it affected different communities, industries and individuals. Investigative reporting continued, municipal coverage pursued, and the county s award-winning newspaper picked up awards yet again.
The Times and Ledger netted eight total wins in the 2021 Pennsylvania Keystone Media Awards for this past year, landing three first-place awards, two-second place and three honorable mentions.
