OPPOSITION leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim said the support for Budget 2021 is not unconditional as there are various issues surrounding the government’s financial plan.“I stress again that we were told to support (the budget) under the assumption that it is a Covid-19 budget, therefore in my opinion we will only support it if it is a Covid-19 budget.“We were urged and advised to support this bill as a Covid-19 budget and we will only support that one, and not anything other than it,” he said in the Dewan Rakyat yesterday.
Azmin-linked NGO expects 300k to join Bersatu by June

An NGO associated with Bersatu supreme council member Azmin Ali expects all 300,000 of its members to officially join the party by June.
Penggerak Komuniti Negara (PKN) chairperson Nor Hizwan Ahmad said members have started joining Bersatu in stages.
With the party constitution recently amended to accommodate setting up more branches, he said, they expect the registration process to be much faster.

DECEMBER 24 Hindsight is 2020, yes, thanks for that year 2020!
It had it all a PM under attack, that PM resigns, a race to a new majority involving also the resigned PM, political reaction delayed by a pandemic response, perpetual talk of government collapse, corruption cases, new parties formed, state governments collapse and a late realisation that our politics needs fresh blood.
Unfortunately, not that much humour by design. The unintended humour was hilarious.
