GEORGE TOWN: Two non-governmental organisations (NGOs), including a fishermen's group, have welcomed the Penang South Islands (PSI) project following its Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) approval.
GEORGE TOWN: The Penang government, through the Penang Infrastructure Corporation (PIC), on Saturday (Jan 28) stressed that the Penang South Island (PSI) project will not destroy the livelihoods of fishermen, as claimed by certain parties, instead their route to the sea will be made easier regardless of the tides.
GEORGE TOWN, Jan 12 The Penang South Islands (PSI) project is expected to start in the third quarter of this year once the necessary approvals are obtained, said Penang Chief.
