PENAMPANG: A retired policeman died of head injuries after the motorcycle he was riding crashed into a bulldozer on an unfinished section of the Pan Borneo Highway here Thursday.
A 38-year-old woman accidentally revved her car engine while making reverse parking at Pavilion, Bundusan, here, Tuesday morning.
As a result, she lost control of her Perodua Viva and smashed through the shutters and into a food court, which had been closed for three days, in the 8am incident.
Various items in the shop such as tables, dishes and glasses were broken or damaged.
Sergeant Eunice, an investigation officer from the Penampang Police Headquarters, was investigating at the scene.
In another incident, a Toyota Fortuner struck four vehicles attempting to make a U-turn on Jalan Tuaran Bypass, near Kg Kalansanan, Tuesday.
It was learnt that the Fortuner first hit the back of a Proton Saga which was heading to the U-turn lane in the 12.30pm incident.
As a result, it collided with three other vehicles - a BMW, a Toyota Vios and a Perdua Bezza.
