In its annual retreat on serene Pele Island last week, Transparency International Vanuatu (TIV) Board of Directors has reviewed and approved its TIV Strategic Plan (2012-2016) with the emphasis to âFree Vanuatu from corruptionâ, as well as the Transparency Vanuatu Staff Manual.
After electing Mr. Joe Kalo of Emae Island to head the Board, in his message, the new Chairman reminded the Board and the country of what it means to graduate from the LDC category.
He began by saying, âOur graduation is a special day for all of us. While we currently celebrate in the Capital, we at TIV accept our graduation with responsibility as we focus on Good Governance to focus on how to face our responsibilities.
