The Delta State House of Assembly has called for a ban on the activities of sex workers across the state. SaharaReporters learnt that the relevant motion was moved on Wednesday on the floor of the House of Assembly. Moving the motion against the rising incidence of open sex trade and the use of illicit drugs amongst youths in the state and environs, the sponsor of the motion and member representing Oshimili South constituency, Bridget Anyafulu emphasised the need to curb the menace and put measure in place to arrest sex workers and youths doing illicit drugs.
