Lakeshore Players Theatre receives $2 million home from Johnson & Johnson matriarch

DELLWOOD, Minnesota A $2 million home in Dellwood on White Bear Lake is now helping a local theater group s future. It s been a very challenging year, said Peggy Witthaus, president of the board of directors for Lakeshore Players Theatre in White Bear Lake.
The pandemic has hit the performing arts community hard and Lakeshore Players Theatre is no exception. All theaters have struggled this year, Witthaus said.

Betty Wold Johnson was born in St. Paul in 1921 to eye surgeon Dr. Karl Christian Wold and Maybelle Lundgrengrew. She often attended Golden Gophers games with her father.
