California ended today with the arrest of two escaped fugitives. The men, who were being held on charges that included murder and torture, broke out of a maximum security jail . Nsouthern california eight days ago. They were recaptured today 400 miles north of that jail. Outside a Whole Foods Market in San Francisco. Nineyearold sut has been ridiculed and rejected all his life. Sut isnt even his real name, but thats what hes been called from the day he was born. Sut means harelip; a terrible name for a child born with a cleft lip. Hes from a very poor family who could never afford surgery. When he was 5, he went for his first day of school. The other kids laughed at him and made fun of him, so he ran away from school, and hes never been back. He has problems speaking, eating, and drinking. Sheriff Deputy Thomas gilliland the male suspect came up behind the deputy and shot the deputy multiple times. The deputy then fell to the ground. The suspect then continued over to him and shot the deputy again multiple times as he laid on the ground. Reporter 47yearold Harris County Deputy Darren goforth died at the scene.
