Pemberton was helping pack the meals for delivery and takeout as the pandemic prevented the mission from holding an in-person dinner. WARREN Volunteers, including local Scouts, church members and area residents, lended a hand to help the Warren Family Mission prepare and deliver 2,124 free Easter meals Friday. Dominic Marrari, director of public relations, said since 1998, the mission has held an Easter community dinner each spring. “Coming out of COVID-19 from last year, this year is a lot different. Last year, we were not even sure we were going to be able to have the meal. Thanks to the volunteers and the community, we are able to have the meal last year and again this year. It is still a to-go meal, but there is a light at the end of the tunnel,” Marrari said.
