URBANA, Ill. – Deer are more active in the fall and drivers should be cautious when traveling after dark. While accidents can happen at any time of year, most deer-vehicle incidents occur between dusk and dawn during the months of October, November, and December.

Through a series of presentations and hands-on activities, participants will learn about native gardens and our pollinators. This is the first event in the series. <br/><br/>Peggy Doty, Environmental Educator for U of I Extension will be speaking on planting host plants for native pollinators and how supporting the native food chain is directly related to human sustainability.
