FORD JOINS RE/MAX OF THE ISLANDS
RE/MAX of the Islands announced that Pegge Ford has joined the company as a sales associate.
She was born and raised in New Jersey and graduated from Marymount College in Virginia. Prior to moving to Sanibel in the early 1980s, Ford had an exciting career in retail. She has lived and worked in Palm Beach, Beverly Hills, New York City, Chicago and Miami.
Ford later worked at the Island Inn for 22 years, where she rose to chief operating officer and general manager. She moved back into retail after she was offered a position as store manager at the then-new J. McLaughlin clothing store on Sanibel, where she worked for eight years.
